Luigi’s Coal Oven Pizza has surprisingly good pizzas. Thin crusts with various toppings freshly cooked inside the oven. We ordered the half and half truffle pizza and contandino? With kid’s portion penne Alfredo (I wanted to try their pasta), avocado salad, and calamari appetizer. Both pizzas were very good, I strongly recommend it to everyone. Their pasta is also good, even for the kid’s menu the portion was generous and the price fair. The only thing I don’t really recommend is the avocado salad. Yes we were a party of three so we finished most of the salad but the flavor just wasn’t there and the texture was off for me too. The avocado is mushy and discolored, and I personally prefer the sliced or diced avocados for avocado salad. The parking is limited so get there early or on a slower day. I think I would recommend this place to others and be back again in the future.

I stopped by this pizza place for a casual meal, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to unwind while enjoying some good food. The staff greeted me right away, and the service was friendly and efficient from the moment I walked in. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, a house salad, and an order of fried calamari. The pepperoni pizza was exactly what I was hoping for. The crust had a nice crisp on the outside while staying soft and chewy inside, the tomato sauce had great flavor, and the melted cheese paired perfectly with the crispy pepperoni. It was a classic pizza done really well, and every slice came out hot and fresh from the oven. The house salad was fresh and crisp with a good mix of vegetables, making it a nice lighter option alongside the pizza. The fried calamari was another standout. It had a light, crispy coating without feeling greasy, and the calamari itself was tender rather than chewy. The dipping sauce complemented it really well and made it a great appetizer before digging into the pizza. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly prepared. Great pizza, got half salad and it was huge. Tried the caprese salad and it was great. The cannoli was good too, light and not too sweet. Now the service was great too, we were treated at the door and they asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside. We elected for outside as they had fans and lots of TV’s, plus the vibe as nice. They immediately gave us two big bottles of cold water, so we never went thirsty. During the meal, they were very responsive and checked to make sure we didn’t need anything else. Five stars all the way.

Luigi’s Coal Oven Pizza on Las Olas is a must-visit if you love authentic Italian pizza. The Margherita Neapolitan pizza was absolutely amazing—truly authentic and straight out of Naples, with the perfect crust and fresh, flavorful ingredients. The Luigi Mule was also excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. The service was great overall, and the bartender Peter especially stood out—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. An all-around fantastic experience. Highly recommend!
